Polaris is the Modern Latin term for “the pole star,” and also the name for what we call the North Star, which for eons has been used to guide the journeys of people all over the world. Metaphorically, a polestar is a guiding principle or a center of attraction. Our guiding principle is that of celebrating diversity, championing equity, & creating inclusion. In using the tool of the internet for our publication, we hope that the work within will inspire people around the world do the same.
