VISUAL WORK SUBMIT YOUR WORK FOR THE NEXT ISSUE "Soulmate" by Abby Song, Grade 11, PVHS My piece is about what it feels like when somebody sees you as an equal and includes you in everything. The overflow of positive emotions is displayed by the surrounding colors and shapes. The style is very much inspired by the artist James Jean. "LOVE.", by Zoë Shippee, Grade 11, PVHS I recently took this photo at Yellow Vase, when my friend and I just went out to get coffee. She is half Caucasian and half Ecuadorian, and I am half Caucasian and half Chinese. Ethnic backgrounds can be a place of connection and conversation, where we can both share our experiences in growing up in biracial families. Find more of Zoë's work on Instagram @zoexelaina.
